Important Notice from the desk of Mayor Harter
As we reach the peak of summer, weeds and organic matter are also beginning to peak due to the heat and longer days. This requires our water plant to run it’s filters for shorter durations in order to clean more frequently. Additionally, the water plant is in the process of replacing filters, therefore not running at it’s full capacity. Because of this, it’s very difficult to keep up water demand and our water towers full. The water level is stable for now as we still have overflow on the dam. In a proactive approach to get through our transitionary period, we are implementing temporary water restrictions(Category 2-yellow) to help ensure we have a safe and reliable water source for our residents and businesses as we go through the rest of summer into fall. Thank you all for your cooperation and understanding.
Mayor Daniel Harter Jr.
